Job DescriptionThe EHS Manager is responsible for directing the transportation safety management process and providing overall support and guidance to the company transportation organization.
The EHS Manager will report directly to department leadership and interact with all staff as needed.
Competitive Salary, Company car, Yearly BonusESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWorking alongside Operations managers, lead EHS operations within assigned region to maintain the safety and health of all personnelCoordinate with EHS and Transportation leadership in crafting short and long term strategies to build a culture of safety within the transportation organizationIntroduce and oversee systems and activities to maintain oversight of regulatory compliance statusDevelop and implement measures and communications to achieve consistent safe practices throughout the Company's transportation organizationMake site visits outside of assigned region, as necessary, to help implement and maintain company-wide transportation safety systemsManage and track compliance inspections, audits, hazard findings, JSAs, in the company-wide safety system.
Leads the investigation of accidents and injuries within assigned region and prepares necessary materials and evidence for use in hearings, lawsuits and insurance investigationsProvide materials, training techniques and tools, appropriate observation systems, and other methods to create and deliver a comprehensive training program for transportation staffConduct mock DOT compliance audits, institute site self inspection protocolsConduct maintenance vendor audits to determine compliance with FMCSR regulationsAssist with management of roadside inspection processContinuously monitor and provide expertise to the organization regarding regulatory requirements, necessary training or policy issues, introduce new policies and procedures and take other actions necessary to ensure compliance with requirements and create a safe working environment.
Perform gap analysis and ensure compliance with OSHA, FMCSA, DEC, Mechanical Code, and other regulatory and business standards regarding facilities, PPE, equipment and other requirements#indsafety#appcastQualificationsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree, preferably in a safety related fieldMinimum of 5 years safety management and/ or safety training experienceSpecialized education and/ or credentials in the safety profession are strongly preferredKnowledge of the transportation industry requiredExperience with computers and software applications:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
